'Hello, my name is Lynda and I am Principal of Dance Majic'.

I am a Fellow of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing
Licentiate of the International Dance Teachers Association and a Member of the A.D.F.P.

Starting dance at the age of 3 years old I trained in Ballet, Tap, Modern and then progressed to Ballroom, Latin, Classical Sequence and gained further Professional qualifications in Dance Exercise, Line Dance, Freestyle and Rock 'n' Roll and Beauty Therapy. My dance knowledge has enabled me to train pupils from absolute beginner to whatever level they would like to achieve be it just for fun, for medal work to the top of the medal test system, for shows or competitions!

As well as teaching full time at Dance Majic I provide Ballroom & Latin classes for 'Parkstone Grammar School'. I have great pleasure showing the teenage group that Ballroom is Cool! They love it and I even manage to get a round of applause at the end of class!'

Over the past few years I have trained many very successful candidates for their Professional qualifications in Ballroom, Latin and Freestyle.

For many years I was blessed with the support and assistance of my mother Peggie A.ISTD and father Bill who were very well liked at the school. Sadly both have now passed away but I am fortunate to have some talented rising stars and loyal Assistants!

Pauline Vines started with the school at the age of 2 years. Pauline passed many Amateur Ballroom, Latin and Freestyle examinations and reached championship level at Freestyle Competitions. She passed with 97% for her Associate Freestyle Examination and was nominated for a Scholarship.

Pauline who holds a full CRB and is a first aider runs our Freestyle Competition classes and has trained many pupils to Championship level. Pauline has a vibrant personality and her enthusiasm makes her a valued member of Dance Majic!

Lauren Eavis started dancing at Dance Majic in the schools famous 'Teddy Bear Club' at the age of 2 years. Lauren is a valued Assistant on busy Saturdays helping with all classes from Ballroom to Freestyle. Lauren is on her last IDTA amateur Freestyle Award and on her President's Award in Ballroom and Latin. Lauren works full time in a local nursery and is well known in the area as a Guide Leader.

Amelia Jemison started dancing at Dance Majic at the age of 4 years and has continued her training in Ballroom, Latin and Freestyle. Amelia is a pupil of Poole High School and dances three days a week, is Gold level in Ballroom and Latin and Gold Star level Freestyle. Amelia is currently very successful at Freestyle Competitions and is a valuable Assistant in all classes every Saturday. Amelia wishes to train for her teachers examinations in the future.
